Description: Exact descriptions are hard to find, but once you have sorted through the obvious fabrications (10 feet tall and shits lightning etc.) "The Deorbiter" appears to be average in many respects, if athletically built. Clothing seems to be the only common thread, and famously wears combat gear and a dirty white cloak emblazoned with some ancient code rune. He is known to use a high end katana and combat shotgun, also similarly enhanced with code runes. Further descriptions are nigh impossible to find, though someone high up has an accurate enough description that pretenders merely have to deal with the local corpo-cops coming around for seditious crimes against capitalism, rather than the full Walled Street small army stomp squads that get deployed for the 'verified' sightings.

Personality: Almost nothing is known about "The Deorbiter" as a person. The accounts from those who have claimed to encounter them vary wildly, and stories agree on a few facts. Firstly, the Deorbiter loathes the executives, and especially, the shareholders far more than seems reasonable for any living human being. The only guaranteed way for them to appear is when a known shareholder or CEO leaves the Walled City. Less commonly they will appear when someone is moving into those areas. Secondly, it is known they attempt to keep civilian collateral to an absolute minimum, while giving no quarter to those that stand in their way. If legend is to be believed, they are responsible for wiping out at least a dozen corpo-sec firms to the last man during assassination attempts against shareholders. Thirdly, they are fascinated with ancient pre-climate disaster technology, and actively seek it out in order to enhance themselves or to 'jailbreak' it for others. From there the stories diverge enormously to the point of nonsense. Sometimes they save villages, other times they damn them, forcing them to be abandoned, even if not one drop of prole blood lies on the Deorbiter's hands. Sometimes the Deorbiter is an insane former shareholder, betrayed by their own class, other times they're someone who lost too much to the shareholders, and demands revenge, occasionally, they are held up as a simple righteous warrior seeking to balance the scales between the hyper-rich and the eternally poor.

Abilities: Again, specifics are hard to find, there is the obvious hyperbole, such as the ability to grow giant, or massively enhance their weapons without using 'tech' as it is understood today. When one separates the obvious myths, you are still left with an impressive image. The Deorbiter is a master infiltrator, swordsman(or woman), and mid-range marksman. Their knowledge of foundational source-code is second to none, nor their cryptography and jailbreaking techniques on most techs. When they are seen to fight, they are supposedly grace incarnate, on this all the stories agree, and fight with an elegant, brutal efficiency that leaves onlookers stunned.

Relationships: You'll find someone claiming to know a guy who's roommate's best friend is in the same e-club as The Deorbiter, but rarely anything more substantial than that. People who are public about their association with such a figure tend to vanish quite quickly, put down by corpo-cops with extreme prejudice for 'conspiratorial intent against capitalism'. If you look for it, there are persistent rumors of many associations with many figures, be they Crud Breakknuckle, or Mama Rei, or any other famous and dubious figure.

Important Life Moments: The first time Alex "Deorbiter" King appears in the history of the new world is more than 300 years ago, when a brash early rebel movement attempted to breach the Walled Street and hijack a shuttle due for launch. They failed, but the launch was caught in the defensive perimeter fire, damaging the shuttle in such a way that while it did make it to orbit, it could not control its course, and wrecked a significant portion of the early orbital buildings project. The sky above the arctic was painted with falling stars for weeks after, and almost immediately a global wanted notice was put out for one "Alex King". Of that wanted notice, only the name remains, all other information was purged as wild legends and public applause for "The Deorbiter" among the lowly masses spread like wildfire. Better, the shareholders and execs decided, that this Alex King be forgotten. Only deeply seeded alerts remain, searching, for signs of this figure, buried under thousands of layers of updates, waiting for the right image to pass through their ancient spider coding to reactivate and send alerts to corpo-cop desks that may or may no longer be looking for them.

Since that one attempt, there have been dozens more over the last three centuries. At first the Corpos put out notices, enough for the public to become aware that the Deorbiter was alive and begin noticing the patterns of their behavior... and that the Corpos couldn't catch them. It was around the 7th attempt that the Corporations stopped putting out specific alerts about Alex King, even by name, and began to cull all publically accessible records of the figure in an attempt to kill the legend entirely.

From there the legend spread, stories of high flying duels and fights atop megacity spires in hurricanes, of assassination attempts made against the glitterati and world's richest and famous any time they came within arms reach, of attempts to break into the Walled City. Three stories of mysterious explosions deep into the All-Gobi believed to have been failed attempts to launch ancient ICBMs into orbit, whether to attack or to ride them up is unknown. Supposedly the Ronin Expedition sheltered them for a time, and they returned with deep secrets from the very edge of the world. Over the years people began to question who this person was. Are they an elf? Human? Is the Deorbiter the original Alex King? Or someone who took on their mantle? In recent years some claim they must be a Remake, or perhaps the very first artificiate, and that the original stories of what caused that first deorbiting had nothing to do with the famous shuttle crash, but instead with a rampaging unshackled AI riding the wreckage down.

In the last century the recorded attempts have petered out, no one has had an even remotely credible sighting of the Deorbiter in 20 years, not since the leak of blurry footage caught a person fighting against a special operations team aboard a sonically accelerated attack craft trying to intercept a shuttle launch. But their story remains, and no one believes that they've seen the last of Alex "The Deorbiter" King.

"Eat at The Deorbiter's Favorite Joint! Starfall!" ~Attributed, from a 200 year old advertisement for the short lived Starfall restaurant chain in Cardinal Holding before it's dissolution under a series of INCREDIBLY hostile take-overs and the liquidation of all executives and upper management.
