Name: Private Alvida "The Buff" Kuular
Age: 25
Race:Human
Zone of Birth: Slyth & Jabber
Class:Clause of the AncestorsEnforcer
Current Employment Alignment: Rebel
Description: A blonde, perky bear of a woman
bearing swirling steader-tattoos on one of her shoulders, and the classic Slyth & Jabber warrior's
eye-stroke (a common affectation for anyone who lives and fights in the glassed and pounded to sand mouth of
the mutant infested peninsula to the south, to protect against the glare in daytime). Her body is fit, and
she wears a set of leather harnesses and straps that, in combat, hold her more flexible armor and almost
always carry her equipment, from the massive hand-cannon revolver (bigger than some rifles) strapped to her
leg, to the machete on her hip. She uses a converted manhole cover for a shield, which she claims is a lucky
charm from her steading.
Personality: Alvida is, by the rather dour natures of many front liners in the eternal war zone of Jabber & Slyth, almost annoyingly upbeat. She is boisterous, eager, and active, and you never see her moping. She wants to be like the action heroes of the ancient television and movie stars of the old world! Always a snarky remark on their lips, always ready to go, never giving up! She adores the idea of what they had been, rebellious go-getters who always did what was right even if it broke the rules!
Abilities: Alvida is a personable and charismatic leader of men and women, as are many enforcers, but when it comes to actual fighting, she takes a non-nonsense, practical approach to actually fighting, wielding her machete and hand-cannon with consummate professionalism, and relying on tech abilities as little as possible. She is an expert swordswoman and gunman, enough to give many ronin a run for their money.
Relationships:
Sublieutenant Elsa Fedorovna: A century old street-elf veteran ordinator industrialist, Alvina met Elsa while helping a small steading-outpost push back a mutant incursion from one of the primary supply-run trenches. She worked with the old elf to repair the primary power relays, and restore power from the distant fusion plant in a larger 'hub' steading to the out-post, allowing them to get their automated defenses and drone charging stations running again. Several more incidents where they kept running into one another, and Alvina decided that it was fate, and that Elsa was one of her boon companions, a state that Elsa finds somewhere between horrifically annoying, and heartwarmingly sweet.
Commander Veronachinka Czarinachev: An executive elf shard outlaw. The pair of them met while inside of a newly extruded mutant factory-nest that had penetrated slightly too close to the line, but had found a position that was sheltered from artillery and even orbital strikes. The position let the tarantuline threat launch much more aggressive attacks, and was about to overrun several outpost-steadings on the front line. Alvida, never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, suggested they team up, and was immediately taken by Verona's talents in battle, so taken that she began hitting on the elf mid battle (nearly killing Verona in the process due to the shock inflicted). The two have been an item ever since.
Important Life Moments: Alvida, like many a child in the steadings and outposts of S&J, grew up not on the corporate consumer-driven media of most of the rest of the world, but on a mixture of wartime propaganda (usually audio-recordings sent out by radio as it was the cheapest thing wireless bandwidth wise and could piggyback on valuable wartime data), and ancient media recovered from the bunker network below ground and the tarantuline peninsula. Her outpost in particular was VERY popular, because they had discovered an ancient library of movies! Many were degraded, but the inventive people took what data they could recover, and spliced it together into their own works. Alvida grew up on a healthy media diet of John Wayne, Arnold, Jesse Ventura, Van Damme, Vin Diesel, the Rock, Sigourney Weaver, Milla Jovovich, and others, swooning at the romantic tension between Wayne and Arnold, or the rivalries of Diesel and Weaver in the spliced together action flicks her forefathers created.
When she came of age, and got full access to the inner sections of the steadings (places that included not only the primary armories, drone control centers, communication decks, and command bridges, but the red-light districts and terminals with connections to the global corpnet), she had long ago decided she was NOT going to be just another of the rank and file! She got her coming of age gear and first 6 months scrip allotment (the only time any S&J employee-soldier is paid on time, or god forbid, early, is the first time, so they can inject all of that into the market and fall into the trap of believing that the soldier's life is a well paying one. From then on they're always waiting at least 3 months for their pay from the time it's due), traded a bunch of it for a more adventurous set of gear, and set out into the trenches, answering to no officer, and seeking to right wrongs, track down bad guys and monsters, and be the lone-gunman hero of her own action story.
