The Gobbo Race

Gobbos are the result of one of many last ditch experiments by Old World scientists during the collapse of their environment. An acronym for Generating Oxygen By Biosynthesising Oxides, Gobbos are photosynthetic humanoids that are short, chlorophyll-skinned people that absorb sunlight and breathe carbon dioxide for the majority of their energy. Requiring very little food and preferring to live outdoors, it's incredibly rare for Gobbos to be employed by corporations, instead choosing to live lives of mischief and hedonism in the New World. Gobbos make up approximately 20% of the population of the New World. Gobbos have to set aside a portion of their mornings to recharge via sunbathing. Smaller cities and sandside territories are usually littered with hungover Gobbos enjoying the morning sun, though the tropical storms that circle the New World cause Gobbos to become groggy and lazy.

ROLEPLAYING A GOBBO:

When roleplaying a Gobbo, your primary motivations are either the profligation of mischief and mayhem, or the fuelling of your plant-like laziness. Approach your decision-making with what would make you the most creds, or the most trouble for your enemies. The hedonistic lifestyle of the New World equates to lounging around in the sun, drinking, drugs, good quality stall-bought food and endless casual sex, and as a Gobbo, your diminutive size and chlorophyll skin allow you to enjoy life far more than most. Every adventure that doesn't employ one of more of these elements is one a Gobbo wants to be done with as soon as possible.
