The vast majority of knowledge from the Old World was forgotten, hidden or altered during the Great Location and the transition from nations to corporations. As a result, even the slightest morsel of information about the histories and cultures of the Old World is a treasured relic, especially to artificial intelligences, created long after the collapse of the climate.
